Introduction

 

Romain Beynié was born on May 6, 1987 in Lyon.

Having grown in Eveux in the west of Lyon (France), he started to play football at the age of 5, in the Football Club of l'Arbresle (FCA).

At the age of 14, followed by several clubs, he decides to join Olympique Lyonnais, while continuing his studies at St Louis/St Bruno secondary school, then at the Faÿs High Scool together with his friends Anthony Mounier, Sandy Paillot, Remi Riou and Julien Faussurier.


Captain in all age classes, he won with this 87's generation of Olympique Lyonnais (Benzema, Ben Harfa, Loïc Rémy…) the Tournament of Montaigu, the french national championship of 16 years, the french national championship of 18 years, the french Championship of C.F.A and played 2 years in a row the final of the Gambardella Cup (the french national cup for the youth) at the Stade de France (Paris).

He honours its 1st selection in French National U18 French Team against Italy in November 2004 (coach P. Bergeroo). With this team he wins the Meridian Cup in Turkey in February 2005.

On December 6, 2005, he makes his first appearance in professional with Olympique Lyonnais and enters during the match OL/Rosenborg in the prestigious Champion's League, in Lyon (Gerland). Moreover, he is at the start of the action bringing to the winning goal for Lyon (win 2-1).

In June 2006, he succeeds his baccalaureate (High school diploma), which he studied in parralel with the beginning of his carreer.

In June 2007 he signs for his first professional contract for 3 years with Olympique Lyonnais, on demand of Gérard Houiller.


During his second year of professional, he goes to AFC Tubize (on loan) in Belgium Jupiler League, coached by Albert Cartier. He will play as starting player for every match.

When he returns in June 2009, with Olympique Lyonnais wich could'nt offer him playing time, he decides, from February 2010, to join F.C Gueugnon, managed by Guy and Tony Vairelles and coached by René Le Lamer. Since this time he goes from match to match as starting player. Tony Vairelles wanted to keep him for next season, but facing financial difficulties the club could'nt.

Following a complicated summer transfer market, Romain joined FC Mulhouse (coached by Laurent Croci), only the first of October 2010. Indisputable starting player for every match, an injury keeps him away from the field a couple of times during the winter.

During de 2011 summer transfer market, and after being approached by several teams of National, Romain decided to join Union Sportive de Luzenac, convinced by the frame of mind, the group dynamics and the project of the club. Since that he has been starting player for every match.
